TOM THOMSON
Tom Thomson is a Canadian artist back from the late 18th and early 19th century. He is famously known for his oil paintings of the wilderness landscape. Though oil painting may not be my preferred medium, his ability to create beautiful scenery that is powerful enough to capture the mood and essence of nature really resonates with me. In fact, he may be the reason why I am drawn to background arts.
